Inc. 5000 List Includes Xtreme Network Security LLC

Xtreme Network Security LLC Ranks No. 1183 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 With Three-Year Revenue Growth of 384% Percent

Inc. magazine revealed that Xtreme Network Security is No. 1183 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“When I heard that we not only made the list, but placed 1183 out of 5000, I felt immensely proud. I reflected on the sleepless nights and long days that my team and I have put in to make this company the success it is today. The financial growth is secondary to the success and growth of our team and service,” explained Joe Lombardo, Owner and President of Xtreme Network Security.

This ranking marks the first time Xtreme Network Security has been on the Inc. 5000 list. Lombardo decided to apply because he looked at the list every year and knew that Xtreme could place and rank high, even if they could have potentially been overshadowed by larger companies with more financial resources.

“I wanted to prove to ourselves that we are growing into a major competitor in the Texas market and that our team’s hard work and dedication pays off and can lead our company to exponential growth,” explains Lombardo.

This award is a silver lining in what has been an interesting year for the company. Xtreme Network Security was operating as an essential business during Austin’s COVID-19 Stay at Home orders, as a vendor that supports healthcare facilities.

Their team of technicians and project managers work every day in hospitals, but new COVID-19 procedures and precautions meant taking extra measures to educate and protect employees while ensuring clients received the same high level of service they are accustomed to.

“We believe that we are a partner in healthcare by assisting hospitals to operate efficiently and focus on taking care of patients instead of worrying about their facility’s infrastructure or security systems. Hopefully, we helped alleviate some stress for our healthcare clients during this time.”

Regardless of the recent climate, Lombardo claims the company is still on track to have a good year. Their successes this year include developing personnel careers and growing internally as a team. They have also worked to further develop their brand and marketing to reach a wider audience and customer base.

Lombardo claims his success and company growth is thanks to the dedication of his team and the quality of service given to all clients. The company has held strong relationships throughout the years with clients who took a chance on them and helped them grow to where they are now.

“It’s important to not lose sight of your beginnings when growing because everyone is important. From the companies that bring us small projects to those that bring in million-dollar projects, they all matter and help us grow.”

The company plans to continue growing by potentially opening branches in Dallas and San Antonio and expanding product lines and manufacturers that Xtreme works with. Internally they are developing new departments, launching more marketing campaigns, and creating new strategic goals and plans.

Austin has been ranked one of the fastest growing markets and metro areas in the United States and Lombardo also plans to capitalize on the city’s growth by working in new construction projects and bringing older facility systems up to date.

Lombardo says he will apply for the Inc. 5000 list again next year. “If we continue taking care of our people and clients, we’re unstoppable and will climb higher on that list,” he says.
