Job completed for Laurel Ridge Treatment Center

Completion date: December 1, 2020

Location: San Antonio, TX

Why did the customer contact us?

Xtreme was awarded a 200 camera replacement project at the largest behavioral health facility in Texas, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center in San Antonio. The facility covers 18 acres of land and contains over 250 patient rooms with multiple buildings.

One of the most challenging aspects of working in an active behavioral health facility around patients is that technicians need to be acutely aware of tool and equipment safety. Our technicians think about every action as a means to protect the safety of patients, staff and visitors.

Prior to our service, the facility was utilizing an outdated analog camera system. During installation, our team replaced each camera individually to ensure the maximum uptime of both camera systems.

We installed American Dynamics and Arecont cameras. These included a mixture of Fisheye, 180 degree and 90 degree dome cameras. The cameras recorded to (4) Exacqvision servers running Enterprise software.

In addition to the camera system installation, the facility requested an installation of 65 wireless access points to their network, which our team installed quickly and efficiently along with Oberon access point anti-ligature enclosures. We also provided new cisco network switches and configuration to provide our client with a faster, more stable network.
